I write..

sometimes.....

My English teacher said that people who write journals are usually more interesting then people who don't. Is it because they're more in touch with what they feel? I believe that writing is an art. It allows you to pour out your emotions but it can't clear them out. There's a difference and I wasn't able to understand that before.
When my grandfather passed away it hurt...a lot. But then its a part of life isn't it? I get angry so easily and so fast that its actually scary. So back then writing helped. I remember just writing and writing and I remember feeling better afterwards because, well,  when someone dies what you feel is sadness, hurt and maybe anger. The thing is that these feelings are understandable...they make sense and made me rely on pen and paper too much.
I thought pouring my heart into paper would be like magic but its not. It can't make you someone else, it can't solve your problems and it can't be your best friend because it can't talk back. If it could it would probably be saying, "Aruba shut the fuck up."
So whatever I feel remains the same whether I pen it down or not.I'm guessing the same can be said for everyone else in the world. So what makes people who keep journals so interesting?

Twin suicide bombs at Shah Ghazi’s shrine leave 7 dead

Updated at: 2111 PST,  Thursday, October 07, 2010
Twin suicide bombs at Shah Ghazi’s shrine leave 7 dead KARACHI: Seven people including two children were killed and over 65 others injured when two suicide bombers blew themselves up outside Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine in Clifton, official sources said here Thursday.

Two heads, believed to be of the bombers aged between 14 and 16 years, have been recovered from the blasts site where severed limbs and human flesh littered the ground, sources said.

Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza who arrived at the scene immediately after the incident, said: “I think the two heads recovered from the blasts site must be of the suicide bombers.”

Head of Emergency, Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Dr. Seemi Jamali put the number of injured at 60.

A large number of poor and deserving people as well as others gather at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine everyday and the number grows manifold, particularly, on Thursday.

The incident occurred on a day when President Asif Ali Zardari is in the metropolis. The shine is located not far from Bilawal House, residence of President Asif Ali Zardari in the city.

Rangers and heavy contingents of police as well as emergency services arrived at the blasts site soon after the blasts. Ambulances rushed the injured and bodies to nearby hospital.

Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza also arrived at the scene immediately after the blasts.

President Asif Ali Zardari, who is in Karachi, condemned the deadly incident.

Note: This is a geo news article
Zardai :condemned" the act. I "condemn" him..what good does  it do?

Efforts at regularity

The title pretty much says it all..to ensure future regularity and blah blah blah i'm going to try writing as much as I can..that means blogging my day too. The operative word here is "try" so I'm pretty sure this new phase/fad or whatever one's supposed to call it won't exactly last for long.
So lets see..I had my first Accounts class today and here's what I was doing there:
And here's an actual copy of what's written in there: (note:I usually write whenever I'm bored and therefore at random bits of pieces and paper. From now on I'll try to gather stuff at one place which would be this blog so I'm going to copy stuff word for word..no changes..every error present)

First Accounts class....well N- from last year is here,so is the really creepy guy who used to stalk A and so is MG (long history here) and well a few more recognizable faces from the same tuition last year.
I really should have joined earlier. They're currently on their 4th class and I'm hopelessly lost. They only thing I do know is that we're supposed to be doing partnerships and in most of the questions the names of the partners rhyme. Its as if they knew that one day they'd join up to form a firm or something together and would require a name that would roll off alright off peoples' mouths.Don't believe me? The names of the partners in the question the class is doing right now while I'm writing this are Titus and Ronicus.Interesting..eh?
God! I cannot flunk accounts! My grades are horrible enough as they are.I don't even like accounts and economics and business! I mean they're okay and all but I'm glad that I don't have them in school. Not that I'm doing so great in my other subjects but thats simply because I'm pathetically lazy not because I'm a dum-dum. At least I hope so.
The place got repainted (yes I'm talking about tuition again). A massive improvement I'd say, especially since its not white this time around.
Wow!This guy just told us that apparently there's just been a blast somewhere around Abdullah Shah Ghazi's Mazaar. Two actually.Just when things were sort of getting normal.By normal..I mean normal by Karachi standards.I guess I'll have to wait till I get home to find out more about it.
P.S Remember to bring 3500 rupees to the next class
P.S.S The next question, the one I actually understood (the reason behind me stopping writing and starting studying) was on the retirement of a partner. The three partners were Cox,Box and Gilbert. No prizes for guessing who retired. He probably  couldn't handle his name not rhyming with the other two.

First post (hopefully not the last)

  Let me begin with :
WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!

Now that that's all cleared up lets move on...
I NEED to find an activity and I NEED to improve my English which is why I'm forcing myself to do this.
Please ignore the whole I-finally-got-a-new-laptop-after-begging-for-ages-and-like-the-idea-of-typing-importantly-in-the-keyboard point of the situation :)
