sometimes.....
My English teacher said that people who write journals are usually more interesting then people who don't. Is it because they're more in touch with what they feel? I believe that writing is an art. It allows you to pour out your emotions but it can't clear them out. There's a difference and I wasn't able to understand that before.
When my grandfather passed away it hurt...a lot. But then its a part of life isn't it? I get angry so easily and so fast that its actually scary. So back then writing helped. I remember just writing and writing and I remember feeling better afterwards because, well, when someone dies what you feel is sadness, hurt and maybe anger. The thing is that these feelings are understandable...they make sense and made me rely on pen and paper too much.
I thought pouring my heart into paper would be like magic but its not. It can't make you someone else, it can't solve your problems and it can't be your best friend because it can't talk back. If it could it would probably be saying, "Aruba shut the fuck up."
So whatever I feel remains the same whether I pen it down or not.I'm guessing the same can be said for everyone else in the world. So what makes people who keep journals so interesting?
